Radio Ska Revial Caprise live

Ska Revial Caprise live radio — broadcasting from Moscow. Jazz & Blues styles: Blues, Jazz & Funk.

Ska Revival Caprise is a themed station from the Radio Caprice network focused on classic and modern ska in English. The playlist moves through Jamaican ska, British 2-Tone and third wave ska, mixing upbeat rhythms with brass sections, rock'n'roll energy, soul grooves and touches of punk. The sound stays lively, raw and dance-oriented without losing its vintage feel.

Ska first emerged in late 1950s Jamaica as a blend of rhythm and blues, jazz and Caribbean rhythms. In the UK the genre evolved into the 2-Tone movement with bands like The Specials and Madness, while the late 1980s and 1990s brought the faster and heavier third wave ska scene. This station brings together different eras of the genre, from early island recordings to ska-punk and modern revival tracks.
