WeFunk Radio live

WeFunk Radio live radio — broadcasting from Montreal, Quebec. Jazz & Blues styles: Funk, Jazz & Funk, Soul.

On air from Montreal, this long-running English-language online radio stream brings together deep cuts in funk, soul and hip-hop with a DJ mix spirit rooted in community broadcasting. WeFunk Radio evolved from a weekly show on CKUT 90.3 FM into one of the internet’s oldest continuous music streams, celebrating Black music’s culture and groove with an archive that spans decades.

The heart of WeFunk lies in the selections of hosts Professor Groove and DJ Static, who weave classic and underground hip-hop, rare soul and original funk into seamless two-hour journeys. Since 1996 they’ve focused on records that matter to dancers and crate-diggers alike, with minimal talk and maximum feel, making the station more than a playlist but a lived mix of sound history and fresh discoveries.
